Sally Veira is a certified Human Resources Executive experienced in providing strategic direction in all areas of Human Resources holding professional certifications in both in Employee Benefits and Compensation. She is very strong in statistical analysis, leadership, and project management skills and has extensive experience in integrating compensation and benefit programs for new acquisitions.

Ms. Veira is a consultant to Capstone Strategy Group (CSG) based in Mt. Vernon New York on Human Capital Management (HCM) strategies for HRIS, Compensation (including executive and sales compensation), and Benefits.

Sally currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Payroll for Quinnipiac University located in Hamden, CT, where she is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, communication, and management of cost effective compensation and benefit, and total reward plans. She has overall responsibility for payroll administration and HRIS implementation; chairs the Retirement Plan Fiduciary Committee; and is a team member on the University’s Union Negotiation Committee.

Prior to that, Ms. Veira served as Human Resources Director of Domestic and Global Compensation and Benefits for “Save The Children”, a non-government agency led by Charlie MacCormack for International Programs with Mark Shriver Kennedy leading the US Headquarters located in Washington D.C. Among some of Sally’s greatest achievements at Save The Children was the creation of recruiting and on-boarding processes to expedite the hire and deployment of employees to disaster areas as well as writing the “Standard Operating Procedures” for emergency evacuations. She also spent time in Haiti implementing a new payroll process which lead to the Agency’s success after the horrific Earth Quake of 2010.

Sally Veira has held previous positions within Human Resources within the following industries: “Gaming,” Internet Marketing, Telecommunications, Publishing, and Insurance and holds a B.A. degree from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield Michigan.
